Since 2020, Fix has been bringing Friday treats to Golden Bay. We use modern patisserie techniques to create something special - just for Friday. We love interesting flavour combinations and new twists on patisserie classics.
Everything is made from scratch specially for each pop-up, the menu changes frequently to take advantage of seasonal products.
We support local and New Zealand producers where possible, favouring ethically produced ingredients.

I’m confused: Are you a cafe?/What is a pop-up?
A pop-up operates only occasionally - when we first started it was Fridays only. Trust us - this makes it extra special. We aim to make beautiful patisserie that is not available any other time or place in Golden Bay. Stay tuned to our Instagram for pop-up locations and times.
When are you open?
We are currently popping-up on occasional Saturdays, stay tuned for new pop-up dates and locations.
Can I order prior to the pop-up?
Yes - once we have released the menu online sales are available for a limited time (announced via our Instagram). We make sure that we have stock for walk-in sales too, but be early so you don’t miss out. All sales are final, please don’t order if you can’t collect!
Do you deliver?
No, all orders are collect only.
What happens if I can’t/don’t collect my order?
Why would you do that to yourself? All uncollected orders will be donated to well deserving members of our community.
How big are your desserts?
Each dessert serves one person, though they are generously portioned, and sharing is allowed.
Do you make full-size cakes or do catering?
Yes. Please email your enquiry to fixonfriday@gmail.com.
We require plenty of notice for catering or cakes. We don’t have a menu or price list because all large cakes are customised. We can generally make any of our desserts and cakes into a large size, browse our Instagram for inspiration. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions but please note we do not make sugar free cakes, nor do we write on cakes with icing (please don’t ask!)
